For example in the U.S., I had a yahoo address for a internet provider that changed to sbcglobal.net when they were bought out by SBC Global, now AT%26amp;T. There is nothing you can do to change that as it is in the control of your internet provider.

The sender used a massmail software and only one existing address was entered in the "to" line, the rest was sent by using the "bcc" (blind carbon copy) option. Spammers often create a special mail address only for this purpose, as soon as they have sent all their junk, the address gets deleted again.

I was advised to uninstall Javascript and then reinstall the latest version from http://www.java.com/. You could also try http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer for the latest Flash player. I have downloaded my email accounts to my windows mail box. Like outlook express if you have got xp.. download all your accounts to that and you will get them easily when you log on to your mail. Yahoo and BT both give directions how to do this. It's called downloading Pop settings.

BT would not sending email and ask you to download and install anything. It could be the worm/virus itself sending that email to you. My advise is not to do that. Get yourself a good and updated antivirus and don't trust something like that easily. If BT is your internet provider, you can call them directly and confirm if they are the one who was sending you that mail.

You are best off speaking to your Internet Service Provider about this. Both of these domains are BT in some way, but I dont think the MX records are the same.





MX records are "pointers" on the Internet that direct email to the relevant location. If the pointers are the same for both BTOpenworld.com and BTInternet.com, then it should make no difference. If the pointers are different, then you cannot.





Either way, I would suggest you speak to you ISP first.

Click on the mail option, (which is on the right handside). It will give you email signing on bit. If you look on there, there is an option for forgotten password. Disable your pop up blocker. Click on forgotten password. Fill in your details of the lost account, as they ask on the popup window. It will then reset your password. You should then have access to that account again.

would you say you had a good password , its possible that some1 has hacked your p/w if it was easy, all a hacker will do is obtain a huge list of yahoo names and put them into a program then make up a list of popular passwords and the program will try to log each id in against the password. the program uses exploits in yahoo security which to be fair yahoo patch up from time to time but hackers will always find another way. if you know all the info you used to open your account then you should be able to get a new password sent by clicking on the forgot password link and i suggest you choose a passwrod containing upper and lower case latters and numbers

This is why I don't have email through my ISP; I purchased my own domain ($72 for 10 years) so that I can swith companies and keep my same mail address. What you're after is fairly easy to set up...





Go to your yahoo ! Mail home page - look to the top right of the screen - you'll see a tab marked Options (next to Help)





Click the down arrow and select Mail Options.





To the left of the new screen you'll see a list including 'POP %26amp; Forwarding' - click that...





Click where the blue 'Set up' text is on the next screen...





When the new window opens, Tick the forwarding box - enter the new email address and click Save

I think you're getting webmail confused with the email addresses provided by your ISP. Unless you're going to carry on paying BTInternet after you've switched to another ISP they will close your account so you wouldn't have an email address with them any more. Webmail continues for as long as you keep using it and can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet, from anywhere in the world. You can read your webmail on your mate's machine - you don't even need an ISP yourself.

Go the the BT homepage - they may have a log-in for e-mail. Type your e-mail addy and your p/w and you may get your e-mails.

When you log into the bt home page %26gt; go to your mail page (link found on the menu left side of the page) in your mail page you will 'options' (top right corner), click this and you will see under 'management' a link for 'POP Access and Forwarding'. In here you will see a radio button for 'Forwarding' check this then add the address you want your emails forwarded to %26gt; 'save'.

I emailed stuff from my house email address (a BT internet one) to my work address so I could print it in work today. However, for whatever reason, it has not arrived.





If I had sent it from a Yahoo or Hotmail address at home, it wouldn't be a problem...I could just log on and dig it out of my sent items...but I don't have that option with the BTinternet address.

Reply:e-mail isn't always instant. Its probably cough in a buffer somewhere. I've sent e-mails that have taken up to 3 days to post. It all depends on which e-mail services you are communicating between. If all else fails, just resend it.

No, but to avoid the same problem in the future don't change to a talk talk address. Instead set up a Yahoo account, then whenever you change your internet provider later on you keep your email address.

You need to sign up for an Email with BT so you can use it.





The easier way to get an Email Address with BT would be to create a Yahoo Messenger Account.

And Download/Install it on you're PC.





Then open up the Messenger login page and select the text that says:"Get New Yahoo ID" and fill out the Form with you're detalis and create you're own Email Address/Password of you're choice....then just Submit it.








Now with you're New Yahoo ID and Password,sign into Messenger%26gt;Help%26gt;Yahoo Messenger Insider%26gt;look at the bottom of the Box for the title that says:"Mail".





It will now take you through to you're BT Yahoo mail Account Inbox.

If they're not in your 'trash' area I think u r stuffed.





I asked BT about this a few years back and they told me that deleted is deleted (for good).





Download any important ones via an email client to your PC.





You might try support again (surprised they don't backup), but u might be outta luck.
