How do I get a btinternet email account?

I want to use this account on windows vista. I have been to the bt home page...but I can't find how to create an email account with them?

Why use an isp email address?


Consider if you change your isp in the future, you will lose your address with it and will have to tell everyone you new one each time you change.


I use google mail, its free and integrates with Outlook, something which a free Yahoo account no longer will unless you subscribe to Yahoo plus for a fee. All your contact addresses will always be available via your Google account even if they are lost from your pc for any reason and from any pc anywhere.

You need to sign up for an Email with BT so you can use it.





The easier way to get an Email Address with BT would be to create a Yahoo Messenger Account.





You go here%26gt;http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com/win/


And Download/Install it on you're PC.





Then open up the Messenger login page and select the text that says:"Get New Yahoo ID" and fill out the Form with you're detalis and create you're own Email Address/Password of you're choice....then just Submit it.








Now with you're New Yahoo ID and Password,sign into Messenger%26gt;Help%26gt;Yahoo Messenger Insider%26gt;look at the bottom of the Box for the title that says:"Mail".





It will now take you through to you're BT Yahoo mail Account Inbox.





If you go to the Home page,you can customise it with different designs and content.





This is what i told my mate to do as she didn't have her ISP with BT.





By downloading and signing up for Messenger you automatically get an BT Email Account and all it's services.! ;)





I now chat to here on Messenger and Email her at her new Email Address!(but she still has her own old one with Talk Talk to!;)
