It can't be because your domain is yahoo. find that domain name @binternet.com and sign up there.
I want my main yahoo email address to be clarke908@btinternet.com?
the domain is yahoo, the only way you can use the clarke is to add it to your profile and use it as the default email so your emails from yahoo people go to that
